Thank you for supporting the school bond
Thank you, Wake County voters, for your overwhelming support of the $530.7M school bond. The bond will help fund:

Replacements for equipment that has aged out, such as classroom furniture, student and staff devices and security upgrades
The construction of five new schools on new sites
Learn more about how the new funding will improve learning environments for our students for decades to come, thanks to you!

Board approves 2023-24 student enrollment plan
Because no new schools are opening in 2023-24, this year's student assignment proposal focused on relieving overcrowded schools and filling underutilized schools. These changes will allow students to attend a less crowded school and to have shorter bus routes. Affected students will be able to request a stability transfer to stay at their current school, though they will be ineligible for transportation.
